Both cities are located on the banks of the Rio Bueno, which drains into Lake Ranco, about 67 km from the capital Valdivia (surrounded by the Rio Calle Calle, Valdivia and Cau Cau Cruces) and 40km from the south of Osorno. The architecture preserves the heritage and influence of German colonization d times. • The Rio allows good water sports like kayaking, rafting, boat rides and bird watching. It is possible to arrange sightseeing tours.
• Mantilhue beach, beaches of fine sand and almost no slope in temperate waters are special to children as the shallow sector has more than 100 mts. There are places suitable for camping and lodging.
