Coastal National Park Larch

This new park comprises several protected areas: former National Reserve in Valdivia, former Larch Coastal National Monument, part of the estate tax Quitaluto and land donated by The Nature Conservancy (TNC). There are 13,000 hectares of jungle Valdiviana make up one of the most valuable ecosystems, unique and threatened the planet, which is a milestone for the conservation of biodiversity in Chile. Tourism development is just beginning to be revealed. Has trekking circuits for day trips, where it is possible to experience immense larch forests (the second longest living species on the planet).

It has 2 hits, from Corral or departing from the Union for the T-80 public road that goes to the spa Hueicolla, which in winter is passable only with four-wheel drive vehicles.

Tips

  • Larch Grandfather whose trunk has a perimeter of approximately 11 m..
  • It is recommended to travel in a vehicle with four wheel drive high and because of difficulties in the way.
