Fairs Customs: Traditions of the field, Sea and Beer

Fairs are must-Niebla and Corral customs of which are made on the coast throughout the summer, where you can taste typical dishes of the sea, Mapuche and recipes of the settlers.

Meeting of the Playa Grande Costumbrista Fog

Operates throughout the year. Has varied cuisine, folk shows.

March to December: weekends only.

January and February: Monday to Sunday.

Feria de la Caleta Costumbrista The Louse, Fog

Runs the entire month of February, with varied cuisine, folk dancing and traditional games ever by the sea.

Fair Curiñanco costumbrista

In the town of the same name, takes place from mid January to mid February, amidst a unique landscape offers a large sample of Mapuche culture-Lafquenche.

Customary of Punucapa Fair

Develops during the month of February in the town of Punucapa, along the Cau Cau River. Events is another traditional food and rural life in the region of Los Ríos.

Tips

  • Combine if you visit the fair manners to visit forts, museums, parks and hiking tours of the coast, river tours (Rio Calle Calle, Valdivia and Cau Cau Cruces) on ships or kayak.
