Valdivia Rainforest Coast. In Valdivia is unique forests in the world

Here is one of the oldest forests in the world. 2 million years ago during the last glaciation, Cordillera de la Costa was the main refuge of the South American temperate forests, sheltering species of flora and fauna, that is unique on our planet, with no dangerous animals or poisonous species As in other forested areas of the world. On the coast, the tour has Valdiviana Selva involving the major parks and reserves Valdivian rainforest, along with services such as accommodation, food, navigation, folkloric festivals and entertainment. Often the visit for the day, but it's worth spending at least 2 days to visit parks, go up a river in a kayak and enjoy local traditions.

Tours, Activities and places of interest.

We can divide the various places to visit on the coast in 2 main areas, north and south of the Valdivia River, departing the dock at the River Street River Street:

  • Protected areas in the Costa de Valdivia: Oncol, Rio Cruces Sanctuary, Peninsula San Ramon, Pilolkura.
  • Protected areas in the Costa de Corral: Larch Chaihuin and Coastal National Park.
